HOW IT'S BUILT
The NexGenomics AI Fabric, in Full.
Genomic AI is delivered through the NexGenomics AI Fabric — four pillars, one governed foundation, unified by cross-cutting services that run underneath all of them.
The Flow.
Raw enterprise data — documents, sensor readings, records, transactions — enters the Fabric with no assumptions about format, source, or structure.
The Genomic Intelligence Engine (GIE) transforms it: structuring, contextualizing, and verifying it into a governed intelligence layer before anything reasons on it.
Autonomous Genomic Agents (AGA) execute workflows against that governed intelligence, within authority boundaries set before they ever run.
The Operational AI Governance Layer (OAGL) enforces policy and captures evidence on every action, continuously — not as a separate audit step.
The Partner & Ecosystem Integration Fabric (PEIF) lets this entire stack scale across multi-tenant, co-branded deployments without any governance guarantee weakening at the boundary.
The output: governed AI outcomes — provable, auditable, trustworthy — regardless of which product (Axiom, Nexus, Helix) or which reasoning engine sits on top.
Cross-Cutting Services.
Underneath all four pillars, every deployment shares the same operational substrate:
Time Sync (PTP) · Cryptography & Key Management · Immutable Logging · Data Classification · Multi-Tenant Isolation
These aren't optional add-ons configured per deployment. They're the substrate the four pillars are built on.
Three Tiers of Governance.
The Fabric's governance model is organized into three tiers, each with a distinct scope:
| Tier | Framework | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | Security & Governance Framework (SGFF) | The foundational, data-layer tier — infrastructure security posture, policy-as-code, multi-tenant isolation, audit evidence infrastructure. |
| Tier 2 | Operational AI Governance Framework (OAGF) | The agent- and policy-layer tier — identity, authority, behavior, and auditability for every AI agent. |
| Tier 3 | Critical Function Governance Framework (CFGF) | The consequence-layer tier — applied wherever an AI action can affect a critical, high-consequence function. |
Every product inherits all three tiers by default. What changes by product is which consequence classes Tier 3 is calibrated against — an industrial control action, a clinical decision, or a business-critical workflow all get evaluated against the same governance architecture, scaled to what's actually at stake.
