This policy describes what NexGenomics, Inc. ("NexGenomics", "we") collects through this website and through our operational text-message alerts, and what we do with it. Data that customers process on the NexGenomics platform is governed by their agreement with us and by the AI Privacy & Data Security Policy, not by this page.
What we collect
When you request a briefing. The form asks for your name, work email, organization, title, and anything you choose to tell us about your interest. We use it to reply to you and to arrange the conversation you asked for.
When you sign up for operational text alerts. We collect your name, your mobile number, and a record of your consent: what you agreed to, when, and the network address and browser the request came from. We use the number only to send the alerts described below.
When you visit. Our web servers keep standard logs: the address your request came from, the page requested, and the time. We use them to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Its typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
Text messages
NexGenomics sends automated text messages about the status of platform infrastructure to staff who operate it and who have signed up to receive them at /sms-alerts/. Messages are sent only when a monitored system fails or recovers. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, affiliates, or marketing partners under any circumstance. Mobile numbers collected for text alerts are used solely to deliver those messages and are never sold, rented, or disclosed for marketing purposes. This exclusion overrides any other information-sharing provision in this policy.
Message frequency varies with system events. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. See the Terms of Service for the full terms of the program.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site: a hosting and email provider that delivers briefing requests to us, and a telecommunications provider that delivers text alerts. They may handle information only to perform that service for us. Subject to the text-messaging exclusion above, we may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the security of our systems.
How long we keep it
Briefing requests are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterward. Mobile numbers are kept while you are subscribed to alerts; the record of your consent is kept after you unsubscribe, because carriers require us to be able to show it. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may unsubscribe from text alerts at any time by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
