HOW DATA IS REPRESENTED · MAPS TO GIE

Data Model.

Once raw data passes through the Genomic Intelligence Engine, it doesn't come out as a generic blob with a confidence score bolted on. It comes out as a small set of well-defined entities — every one of them carrying its own provenance, quality, and policy.

The Core Entities.

Intelligence Record. The structured, governed unit of information a reasoning system actually consumes — never the raw source document or field itself.

Provenance Chain. An immutable, ordered record of every transformation an Intelligence Record has been through: originating source, timestamp, processing step, and the policy in effect at each stage.

Knowledge Graph Node & Edge. Relationships, hierarchies, and dependencies that a flat record can't express on its own — a piece of equipment's maintenance history, a regulatory workflow's required sequence, a care pathway's dependencies.

Quality Score. A composite measure — completeness, consistency, recency, domain-specific accuracy — attached to every Intelligence Record, with configurable thresholds per use case.

Policy Binding. The specific governance rules that apply to a given Intelligence Record — access controls, sovereignty requirements, retention rules — evaluated at read time, not just at ingestion.

Structured Once, Reused Everywhere.

An Intelligence Record isn't rebuilt for every application that consumes it. It's structured once, and every downstream system — every agent, every reasoning engine, every product — reads the same governed representation. This is the specific mechanism behind the cost argument for Genomic AI: the expensive part happens once, not on every call.

Drift Doesn't Go Unnoticed.

Source data changes. When it does, the Quality Score and Provenance Chain reflect it — and drift beyond a configured threshold triggers automatic re-structuring, not a silent, stale record sitting in a knowledge graph until someone happens to notice it's wrong.
